What Does "Happy Skin" Mean?

Happy skin is skin that’s clear, hydrated, vibrant, and full of life. You know it when you see it — and when you feel it. When your skin is dull, breaking out, or inflamed, it’s not just a surface issue — it’s communication.
Your skin is a messenger. Once you learn to listen, you’ll know how to support it naturally.


1. Sleep – Your Skin’s Best Friend

Sleep is your foundation. It supports every function of the body — including your skin. Most women need 7–9 hours per night. Personally, I need a solid 9. If your skin looks tired, it might just need you to rest more.


2. Hydration + Minerals

We’re made of water — but we need minerals to absorb that water properly. I love Redmond Relyte electrolytes with a little extra mineral salt. I drink them every morning with my creatine.


3. Blood Flow = Glow

Move your body to move energy. Blood flow supports skin regeneration. Stretch, walk, do Pilates. Move daily and watch your skin change.


4. Let It Out – Emotional Release

Stagnant emotions can cause real pain. I didn’t cry for decades, and it eventually caused chronic pain. Once I began releasing emotions, not only did the pain go away — my skin became happier too.


5. Food & Skin – A Simple Guide

  • Avoid refined sugar (instead choose: honey, coconut sugar, molasses)
  • Eat variety
  • Choose organic when possible
  • Limit processed foods
  • Choose naturally processed animal products (Pastured eggs, grass-fed meats, wild-caught fish)
  • Use mineral salt (Himalayan, Celtic, Redmond Real Salt)


6. Mirror Work & Mental Peace

Stress can age your skin. Stand in front of the mirror and speak to yourself with love:

“I love you. You are worthy. You are enough. You deserve abundance. You are allowed to rest.”

This practice will change your life — and your skin. I know this from personal experience:)


7. Sunshine Rituals

Get outside in the morning to soak in gentle sun rays. They prep your skin for midday sun exposure. Expose your skin to the sun in small doses. It boosts hormones, immunity, and radiance.


8. Daily Detox Through Fiber

Proper elimination is key. Fiber keeps your digestion moving, which is your body’s fastest detox pathway.


9. Bonus Tips for Radiance

  • Go barefoot outside to soak up negative ions — they reduce inflammation.
  • Spend time in nature. Nature heals.
  • Let joy lead. If you want that pastry, enjoy it! Joy creates a glow no rule can replicate.
